NY Building Systems Consultant Inc. (NYBSC) delivered a full modernization of the facility’s mechanical, electrical, and life‑safety systems to support reliable, energy‑efficient operations. The scope included a complete HVAC and electrical redesign featuring a new heat‑pump system, DOAS ventilation, and major power infrastructure upgrades, including a new 4000A Con Edison service and emergency generator. Sustainable solutions were integrated through a solar PV system, industrial‑grade energy‑efficient lighting, and the installation of eight EV chargers to support clean transportation initiatives. Life‑safety enhancements included a code‑compliant fire suppression system and a dedicated lightning protection system. NYBSC also performed detailed submitter reviews and led ongoing coordination with contractors, DEP representatives, and field teams to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to design intent.
