Local Law 87 (LL87) Deadline has been Extends to March 31st, 2026 for calendar year 2025 (CY2025)
New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) has Extended the Local Law 87 (LL87) filing Deadline for the calendar year 2025.
Building Owners/Owners representatives can now submit the Energy Efficiency Report (EER) for buildings required to comply by March 31, 2026.
This extension of the December 31 deadline is for the 2025 filing year only.
Failure to submit by March 31, 2026, may result in civil penalties of $3,000 for the first year of non-compliance and $5,000 for each subsequent year.
